AUSTIN — Austin Jewish Voice for Peace is holding a memorial service for the victims of the Israeli assault on the people of Gaza one year ago. Co-sponsored by the Interfaith Community for Palestinian Rights, the service will be held at the Friends Meeting House, 3701 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., 7-9 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015.

The evening will include music, meditation, and an opportunity for people to express their feelings of grief and loss for the terrible death and destruction suffered by the Palestinians at the hands of the Israeli Defense Force.

People of all faiths are ​invited​ to attend and are encouraged to RSVP on the Facebook event page for this event.
